The Program

The objectives of the High on Life Challenge

  • Provides drug education and awareness
  • Helps to improve self esteem and develop a strong self image
  • Teaches coping and stress management skills
  • Builds resiliency to lessen risks
  • Encourages setting healthy lifestyle goals

Funded until June 2011 to

  • Offer the program in 21 high schools in Waterloo Region (2009-2011).
  • Provide Ontario-wide training to education and health care facilities for program sustainability and to support youth and young adults in the prevention of drug use (2009-2011).
